It was an interesting bye-election in Jos, as widow of Gyang Fulani, the slain former Majority Leader in the Plateau State House of Assembly, who is the standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won the bye-election into the Barkin Ladi vacant seat of her husband. Gyang Fulani died alongside the senator representing Plateau North District, Senator Gyang Dantong when gunmen attacked mourners at Maseh, a village in the Bachit District of Riyom Local Government Area during the mass burial of some victims of previous attacks in July this year.
