SAD: Corp Member Slumped And Died During Night Vigil Service



Tragedy struck Edjeketa community of Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, as a corp member reportedly slumped and died during a night vigil service at Christ Gospel Church. The diseased, named Excellent Okpako Akevwighome, was reportedly leading a choir ministration when the sad incident happened. Other members of the church thought that he was under the influence of the holy ghost at first, but realized there was a problem when he was still lying down after 20 minutes. This is indeed sad, and may God bless his soul.  

Yes I Collected 53 Million Naira From Tony Anenih, But It Was Not For GEJ's Campaign - Tanko Yakasai




Prominent Northern elder and statesman Alhaji Tanko Yakasai has at last admitted receiving the sum of 53 million Naira from Chief Tony Anenih before the 2015 general elections. According to Vanguard newspaper reports, the elder statesman stated that he shared the money with 8 (eight) other northern elders. He further reportedly stated that the money was not for campaign purposes, but to pay advocacy visits to prominent Northern Emirs, so that they could mobilize their subjects for a hitch free 2015 general elections. The report further stated that the money took care of their allowances, transportation and hotel accommodation throughout their tour of 18 northern states.

82 Million Naira For Dinner In Honour Of Wole Soyinka ?



I just came across a news article that Hon. Rotimi Amaechi Spent 82 Million Naira to organize a 3-hour dinner for Professor Wole Soyinka. This accusation was make by Rivers state Commissioner for Information Dr. Austin Tam George During a radio program in Portharcourt. He also alleged that the renowned Professor of literature collected part of the money and that a formal letter would be sent to request for the refund of the money received by the Prof.
