A baby
In Bauci state, 40-year-old Mallama Halima is currently in police custody for stealing a baby from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital. Halima, a mother of five girls was desperate to save her marriage after her husband divorced her for her inability to have a son, decided to steal a baby boy from the hospital. Her husband reportedly rejected paternity of the baby boy when his wife brought him home and ensured that his wife returned the baby after she confessed how she got the baby to her husband. Halima was arrested when she tried to return the baby to the hospital as instructed by her husband.
