Traders Kill Edo State Official For Trying To Enforce Enviromental Law

An official of Edo State Ministry of Environment has been reportedly killed by traders at Oba market in Benin. The man whose name is Henry Isibor, was an operative of Edo State Environmental Protection and Regulatory Unit before his death. Henry was reportedly hit from behind by some traders at the market when he and some other operatives went to enforce an environmental law in the state that prohibits street and walk ways trading. He reportedly died on the 4th of October, according to Punch news reports.
