Chelsea Confirms John Terry has suffered two cracked Ribs

Chelsea have confirmed captain John Terry has suffered two cracked ribs and will monitor the defender ahead of upcoming games.

Terry revealed earlier on Thursday he is finding it difficult to breathe during matches after picking up the injury during last week's UEFA Champions Leaguequarter-final first-leg triumph over Benfica.
The 31-year-old completed that match and was able to play 90 minutes of Saturday's Premier League win over Aston Villa, but was substituted an hour into Wednesday night's 2-1 second leg victory over the Portuguese side at Stamford Bridge.

The skipper underwent a scan on the problem on Thursday morning and the Blues have confirmed two of his ribs are cracked and that they are keeping an eye on the defender.
A statement on their official website read: "Scans confirm that John has two cracked ribs sustained in last week's game in Portugal.

"We have been able to manage it and will continue to do so.
"We will continue to monitor it on a daily basis and will assess him for upcoming games."
