Afghanistan Under Attack As Terrorists Hits Presidential Palace and Western Embassies
Afghan Taliban says it has attacked President Hamid Karzai's presidential palace compound.
The compound of the German embassy in Kabul sustained damage Sunday but no-one was injured, the foreign ministry said after explosions and gunfire rocked the diplomatic quarter of the Afghan capital.
A spokeswoman told AFP that there had been damage "in the grounds of the German embassy" but described it as "smaller damage to property" without giving further details. The terrorists have also
attacks other western embassies which include the British embassy.
There are reports that the militants are still battling with military operatives in Kabul.
