The Ekiti State Police command has nabbed three men for robbery and raping a 14-year-old girl in the state. The group, comprising five men, we learnt invaded the Samson Street home of the girl in Odo Ado, Ado-Ekiti Local Government Area of the state, last Thursday and, after robbing them of valuable, abducted the primary school pupil to a nearby primary school in the area and raped her in turns, after which they abandoned her at the scene.
However, men of the state police command arrested three of the suspects in the crime, with two of the gang members still at large. They were paraded before newsmen in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday, where the suspects admitted to committing the crime. Three of the suspects, Sunday Johnson, 17; Oladipupo Kayode, 24 and Jimoh Olorunsola, were said to have also confessed to the police during interrogation that they committed the crime.
