Edmund Educhukwu
According to the reports that I gathered, Edmund Educhukwu and Dorothy Hayford Nkanu have been lovers for years. Trouble started when Dorothy accused Edmund about a woman she heard would marry Edmund, an accusation denied by Edmund. Unknown to Edmund, Dorothy had planned to deform him with the intention that no other woman would marry him if she cannot. A night before the sad incident happened, they both made love before going to sleep, only to wake up and say their early morning prayers before Dorothy struck while her lover was praying with his eyes closed.
According to Edmond “It was when I was rounding off the prayers with my eyes still shut that she sneaked out and brought the paint rubber where she hid the acid and poured it on me.” he further stated that the only thing that came out of Dorothy's mouth after pouring the acid on him was “if the God you are praying to supports your plan, I will now see the woman that will accept you with your eyes blind and face destroyed’ and she ran away”.
Dorothy is now in police custody and Edmund battling for his life in a hospital, doctors have even said that he needs to be flown abroad for skin transplant and before he can see with his eyes. Na so love dey shack?
