PM News have reported that men of the Denton Police Station, Ebutte-Metta, Lagos, have killed three robbers during a shoot out. The robbers were said to be robbing residents of No. 62 Jebba Street, off Ibadan Street, when the police got a distress call.
According to a police source, there was an emergency call to the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, James
Chu, about the robbery. The DPO, the source said, gathered his men and raced to the area only to be attacked by the robbers.
In the ensuing gun duel, three of the hoodlums were shot dead while others escaped. Items recovered from the robbers included laptop, handsets, a locally made pistol and electrical appliances which were later returned to the owners.
