Female Banker Send Robbers After Bank's Customer After Making Withdrawal

                                        

A female banker has reportedly been handed over to the police for masterminding a robbery in Onitsha. According to Daily Sun reports, the female banker whose name was not revealed, paid one of her customers the sum of five million Naira and sent armed robbers after the man. The robbers who were on a motorcycle snatched the customer's bag containing the money and got away, but the customer suspected a foul play by the banker since no other person knew about his financial transaction at the bank, which made him go back to the bank and threatened to expose the banker.


The banker reportedly denied being involved in the crime, but the branch head suspected her when her phone rang consistently and she refused to pick it. The manager reportedly asked her to pick her call and ensure that the phone phone was connected to an amplified speaker, only for the caller at the other end to happily announce that the operation was successful and that they should meet at a point for her to pick up her share. She is presently in police net and will be tried accordingly.
