Lagos State House Of Assembly Members Kick Against Planned Introduction Of Chinese Language In The State's Public Shools
The Lagos state house of Assembly was yesterday divided over the state government's plan to introduce Chinese language in public school's curriculum. Many of the lawmakers who spoke were against the plan, as they argued that Nigeria's native languages should be given priorities instead. The lawmakers decided to summon the state's commissioner for education, to come and explain the basis for the planned introduction and what the state government intends to achieve.
