A 3-year-old son of a San Jose, Calif., police officer was shot and killed Wednesday evening at his home in Gilroy. According to a newspaper report three other children were inside the home at the time of the incident, indicating this might have happened during a play date. The police department is quiet about who shot the boy, but have confirmed that investigations will be based on the storage of the gun. The police department is more concerned about how the gun was kept such that children could gain access to it.
