Armed Robbers in the early hours of Tuesday, stormed the account department of Katagum Local Government Secretariat in Bauchi State and carted away the March salary of workers worth millions of naira.
Confirming the incident to our correspondent on phone, the Deputy Caretaker chairman of the local
government Alhaji Kamisu Abdu said that the gunmen suspected to be armed bandits raided the local government secretariat with dangerous weapons at about 2am on Tuesday and made away with money meant for staff salaries.
The local government staff who were still expecting to collect their March salaries were shocked by the event. Na wa oo at this period when people are preparing for easter?
