Daily Trust reports indicates that Gunmen yesterday kidnapped the father of Minority Whip of the House of Representative, Pa Samson Imarhiagbe.
Pa Imarhiagbe was taken from his residence at Urhokhuosa village in Uhunmwode Local Government Area of Edo State at about 1:30pm.
The Minority Whip, Hon Samson Osagie, said he was yet to be contacted by his father’s abductors.
He said his father’s cell phones which were collected by the kidnappers were switched off and has not been contacted for ransom.
Pa Imarhiagbe was kidnapped last year on his way to Abuja to attend the swearing in ceremony of members of House of Representatives in Abuja.
State police spokesman, ASP Etim Bassey, said he was yet to be briefed on the kidnapping.
