Man Abandone Baby In The Car For Seven Hours To Gamble
I do not know what to call this act, how can a father do this to his child? Any way, the man whose name is Kyuyoun Lee abandoned his 8 month old baby for seven hours to gamble at a casino. Lee entered the casino at about 3:am, leaving his baby in the car at the parking lot of the casino until he was arrested by policemen at 10:am on Wednesday. He was charged to court with leaving a child unsupervised, and risk of injury to a child. He was granted bail with $5,000 bail bond to re appear later in June. The event happened in Connecticut.

I reported here on this blog that a German Raufach Edgar was kidnapped somewhere in Kano on the 23rd of March 2012. Now the German is reported to have been killed by his captors this morning in Kano, the incident that occurred when security forces traced his captors to their hide out where he was believed to have been kept. According to Daily trust reports, Edgar was shot before Nigerian security forces could get to the hide out. The hide out which is located opposite the new Bayero University, Kano's new campus has been banging with gun shots between militants and Nigerian security forces.

300 Faithful Christian Volunteers Team Up To Build Church In 30 Hours
The Church That was built by faithfuls in 30 hours
300 christian faithfuls volunteered to build the Calvary Tabernacle Church last weekend in Perry, Iowa. According to the Rev. Rex Deckard who heads Calvary Tabernacle's sister church "within ten minutes the four walls were up, it was truly incredible" The church building started on Friday, was completed on Saturday and a service was held in the church on Sunday. Father And Two Sons Found Dead In A Manure Pit
When relatives of 48-year-old Glen Nolt noticed that him and his two teenage sons did not come back home from the diary farm they work, little did they know of what befell the man and his two children. A search that lasted for hours ended on a sad note after they decided to pump the 7.5m litter manure from the farm they work, only to find the bodies of Kelvin, 18, Cleaton 14 and their 48 year old father. The police have decided to carry out a autopsy on the corpses because no ladder was found in the pit.

Bride Arrested At Her Wedding Reception For Kicking A man To Death
According to a BBC reports, 22 year old Yekaterina M. was arrested at her wedding registry for kicking a man to death hours before her wedding. The dead man was said to have hailed from her village and was reported to have owed the bride some money, main reason why she kicked him to death.
Yekaterina's fiance was said to have been present as she committed this crime, but was drunk as he watched his wife to be kick another man to death. The dead man was reported to have visited the couple on the eve of their wedding, during which an argument started about the unpaid debt.

South African Arts Gallery Paints Jacob Zuma With His Genitals Hanging Out
President Jacob Zuma's love for women has back fired, as an art gallery (Brett Murray) has displayed the above painting that shows the president's genitals. The President's ruling party ANC has sued the gallery for this action. This will be the president's 12th lawsuit against various media houses in the country. The president has recently announced his intention to marry his 6th wife, although some have left him.

18 Headless Bodies Discovered In Mexico Tourist Area
Drug war in Mexico does not show any sign of an end insight soon, this follows a news report by ABC news that Mexican police found 18 mutilated, headless bodies near a lake popular with tourists just outside Guadalajara, Mexico, a massacre that authorities blamed on the Zetas drug cartel.

According to AFP reports, suspected Fulani herdsmen have murdered father, mother and their five children in their home while sleeping at a Christian village in Plateau state. Confirming the incident is a Plateau state spokeswoman who told AFP that “a family of seven was brutally killed at Riya, a village in Riyom Iga,”
He said suspected ethnic Fulani herdsmen, who are predominantly Muslim, invaded the mainly Christian and farming village Wednesday night and shot and macheted the victims in their bedrooms before fleeing.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the senate yesterday confirms the appointment of Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu as a Nigerian Ambassador. Fashola Sacks 1,000 Lagos Doctors
Based on News Bytes Now reports, Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, on Monday ordered the sacking of striking doctors in its employ. It was learnt that the doctors started receiving their letters of sacking on Monday morning.
