Last week it was revealed that Bad Boys star Martin Lawrence and his wife Smaicka had decided to split. And the 47-year-old star has already filed for divorce from his 37-year-old spouse citing 'irreconcilable differences'. The divorce papers were filed to the LA Superior Court and request joint custody of the couple's two children daughters Amara, 9, and Iyana, 11.
A joint statement released by the pair said: 'Martin and Shamicka Lawrence have decided to divorce.''The couple has made the joint decision to part ways. 'Out of love and respect for one another we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together.'
