Armed Bandits Raid Church During Service In Ogun State
According to Punch newspaper reports, gunmen attacked the First Baptist Church in Sango Ota, Ogun State, killing two worshippers and injuring four others on Saturday. The report further stated that the robbers, whose number could not be ascertained, were said to have stormed the church about 10:50pm and opened fire on the worshippers. The injured were reportedly taken to the State Hospital, Ota where two of them died, while four others are still lying critically ill.
The Attack On Auchi Town By Armed Men Who Bombed Banks And Police Station Yesterday Evening
Auchi, the major town in the northern part of Edo State, was under attack last night. Unknown gunmen, armed with sophisticated weapons and dynamites, stormed the polytechnic town between 5:30 and 6.30pm. They bombed a police station, the Etsako West Local Government secretariat, three banks and the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) office. Even the Soldiers stationed at Agip petrol station were under siege. The bombed banks were behind the Federal Polytechnic campus. The PHCN office on Alhaji Musa Street was bombed. The police station was set on fire along with some vehicles.

Update On Boko Haram Attack On Police Headqauters In Abuja This Morning, 30 Detainees Rescued By The Gunmen, Some Rearrested Others On The Run
Contrary to earlier reports that no detainee was rescued by suspected Boko Haram gunmen who stormed Abuja head office of the Nigerian police force (Special Anti Robbery Squad), there are confirmed reports that the gunmen successfully rescued 30 detainees. Although policemen on duty were galant, as they justified why they should still be earniong tax payers' money by fighting back. Police authorities have reportedly re-arrested 25 of the rescued detainees while 5 others are currently on the run. Also a police inspector lost his life in the attack, as he was shot dead by the attackers.

Clash Between Okada Riders And Policemen Leave 9 People Injured And A Police Station Burnt In Ibadan
The lawlessness associated with some commercial motorcycle operators popularly called okada riders surface in Ibadan Oyo state today, as nine people were injured, a police station at Kuola, Apata was set ablaze and cars and motorcycles in the police station were set on fire by the okada riders.
