Hollywood acting legend Gene Hackman has reportedly slapped a homeless man who reportedly verbally abused his wife. E!News reported that Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa were leaving a restaurant in downtown Santa Fe when Becker, the 63-year-old homeless man approached the couple in what Hackman described as ‘a threatening manner’ and continued to insult his wife by calling her a derogatory name. Hackman according to the report decided to defend his wife’s honour by slapping the man across the face.
Although the man called the police, but Hackman was at the scene to explain why he acted in self defence, and nobody was arrested.
