Clash Between Okada Riders And Policemen Leave 9 People Injured And A Police Station Burnt In Ibadan

                                  

The lawlessness associated with some commercial motorcycle operators popularly called okada riders surface in Ibadan Oyo state today, as nine people were injured, a police station at Kuola, Apata was set ablaze and cars and motorcycles in the police station were set on fire by the okada riders. Trouble reportedly started when one okada rider was arrested by policemen for carrying two passengers and was taken to the police station, only for his co riders to storm the station, hurl stones at the station and eventually burn down the whole police station. seven policemen were and two okada riders were reportedly injured in the incident which lasted for three hours.
