REVEALED: Federal Government May Dialogue With Boko Haram, Plans Amnesty Programme For The Sect

Following yesterday's announcement by Boko Haram that they are willing to dialogue with the government of Nigeria, I have just found that that the Federal Government is considering the dialogue proposed by the sect, but has given a condition that the spiritual and political leader of the sect, Imam Abubakar Shekau leads the sect to the negotiation table.
I actually found out through The Nation newspaper that there are plans by the Federal Government to set up an amnesty programme for the dreaded sect, although the source was not revealed by the newspaper, but it stated that the government have started putting plans in place to reintegrate members of the sect back into the society and to meet some of the sect's conditions. The call for dialogue according to the source of the newspaper, was championed by the new National Security Adviser who has been meeting with the leaders of the sect for a while in other to broker peace.
