26-year-old Iesha Hill fed her 5 month old baby on Friday night before going to sleep, only to notice the little girl's head wobbling the next day. According to media reports, she quickly opened the baby's bottle to smell it and noticed there was alcohol in the bottle. The sad part of this story is that what she thought was water, turned out to be a bottle of Bacardi.
Police have arrested the mother for this negligent act, but the baby is said to be stable and under doctors' close watch. The baby's grandmother has pleaded that it was a mistake, but admitted that the baby is in pains. In her words at the hospital according to Fox news "We feel bad for the baby because she's up there suffering right now because of our mistakes."
I hope and pray the baby gets well soon without any complications, I am sure the mum was drunk when she fed her baby because I don not understand how a sane mother would feed her baby with Bacardi.
