The teacher and the young girl started as friends on Facebook until she told him that she intended to buy a cat for her birthday. Peter asked her to come over to his place to see some cat pictures that he has, so that she could make her choice. On the day she came to see the pictures, Peter took her out for a drink and the took her back to his bungalow. It was at his bungalow that he tried to hug, kiss and touch her inappropriately.

It's Merseyside.
ReplyDeleteThanks I will change it right away.
DeleteIn response to comment 1 the offence was not committed on Merseyside but in rural Lancashire. The trail was held in Liverpool Merseyside !!
ReplyDeleteYou could hardly call Burscough, West Lancashire, rural. Burscough is in the West Lancashire Council authority and lies between Southport, Merseyside - Ormskirk, West Lancashire - and Preston. I wonder if West Lancashire Education Authority are having to ask Burscough Priory High School pupils if they have been invited to see his pictures of cats or kittens!!! Has Peter Jones only got one year in prison. Why not more? Is it right that further charges of a sexual nature are proceeding!! I wonder how long West Lancashire and Burscough Priory School employed him and what other schools he has worked in.
