The police in Abia state have arrested a 20 year old woman for selling her baby to a man at N160,000. The woman whose name is Joy Titus Gabriel, was pregnant for a man who did not accept pertanity of the child. She was arrested along with an auxiliary nurse Joy Obiekwe who helped her to facilitate the sale of the
baby.
The most painful part of this is that the baby is reported to be less than one week old. The man who bought the baby is presently at large, but the mother has confessed to collecting N100,000 while the nurse recieved the sum of N60,000.
