According to a report I read on Vanguard newspaper, an eight-month-old pregnant woman, Mrs. Grace Nwangwu, was weekend, killed in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State while she was reportedly trying to steal some food crops in a farm near her house at midnight. The woman was alleged to be sleeping on the same bed with her husband, Mgbebu till midnight when she left to ease herself outside but reportedly
went to farm at Igbudu Community to harvest some food crops and was killed by her assailant.
The woman's husband reportedly stated that his wife left his side around 12am to ease herself, only to discover her lifeless body after searching for her for a while. A deep cut was discovered in her stomach with blood rushing out of it.
Even if she stole a whole farm, was it justified to kill a pregnant woman? God will expose whoever did this to the poor woman, what if she was hungry?
