His name is Kazeem Ibrahim, he is the UYO correspondent of The Nation newspaper, he was invited alongside other journalists by the media department of Akwa Ibom state Governor to cover the 50th birthday celebration of the Governor at his residence, only to end up at unconscious at a hospital from the gate of the Governor's residence as the security men reportedly beat him to pulp without any justification. He is presently on admission at a hospital in Uyo.
