According to Daily Trust reports, many people were yesterday killed in multiple explosions and gun shots that rocked Maiduguri yesterday. Residents said they heard the sound of at least eight bomb blasts along Lawan Bukar ward, Hausari, Shehuri, Budun, Abbaganaram, Kawar Maila and Bagobiri areas of Maiduguri metropolis yesterday. Most of the blasts were followed by sporadic gunshots and some residents said
operatives of the Joint Task Force had engaged some gunmen, suspected to be members of the Boko Haram.
Daily Trust further reported that the that trouble started around 4.30pm with a sound of a blast somewhere in Lawan Bukar ward, the area where most of the residents have fled their homes in the last two days. When will all these killings end in my dear country?
