Nigeria gives South Africa conditions and ultimatum to apologise...

Reports reaching me indicates that the Foreign Ministry of Nigeria, has given conditions to South African Authorities under which the diplomatic row between the two nations can be settled. The report also suggests that the deadline for the conditions to be met is today, after which Nigerian Government will decide

if to come down hard on South Africans living illegally in the country or not. Below listed are the conditions:
•unconditional apology to Nigeria over the deportation of 125 Nigerian travellers;
•compensation for all the victims of the cruelty;
•disciplinary action against all the officials involved in the incident;
•a review of the Yellow Fever Vaccination Card policy; and
•a commitment that such a diplomatic slip will not reoccur
