The recent spate of bank robberies in Ogun state calls for a major concern, this is because it has left many innocent lives in the untimely graves, but because it does not seem to stop. Recently all banks operating in the state have decide to close and not attend to any customer unntil the government does something toaddress the situation.
The situation has gone so bad that event ATMs no longer function in the state as most robbers break the machines and get away with money. Many pensioneers in the state do not have access to money as no bank is openning for business. The state's bankers' forum has threatened not to resume business in the state until the state government does something urgently about it. It has been reported that the state government has made payment for the purchase of APCs that will be staioned across the state in order to counter the bandits who unleash terror on the people of the state at will.
