The Italian Government has demanded for details of the failed operation that led to the death of its citizen and a Briton from the FG. it has been revealed that both the Nigerian and UK governments did not inform the Italian Authorities of their intentions until the operation was underway. According to Channels TV News, there was a shootout between their captors and the UK and Nigerian forces that carried out the operation. The two foreigners were reportedly shot by their captors.
