Brazilian football authorities have cancelled a proposed football friendly between Nigeria and Brazil. The reason according to an official of the Barzilian FA is insecurity in Nigeria. There are reports that the Brazilian FA have settled for South Africa instead of Nigeria. Although NNF says they are still hopeful that the friendly match will hold in September, but this is clearly a sign of things to come if these issues of violence are not tackled head on.
