I Collected $600,000 From Femi Otedola - Farouk Lawan

If you think the last have been heard of the fuel subsidy scam/scandal, please think again, this is because, Farouk Lawan (Mr Integrity), the Chairman, House of Representatives ad-hoc committee that probed the fuel subsidy fraud, on Monday, reversed his earlier statement and accepted that he collected $620,000 from the Chairman of Zenon Oil and Gas, Femi Otedola, to doctor the panel’s report. Farouk Lawan had previously denied the allegation by Femi Otedola that he did not collect any money from him, he further alleged that the video that he was reportedly shown while collecting the bribe was doctored.

With all the integrity, with all the noise, with all the accolades he received from Nigerian home and abroad for doing a good job, one would have thought that Nigeria has a credible leader in the making by the name of Farouk Lawan. Something still tells me that there is more to this issue than meets the eye, because Farouk has claimed that he gave the money ($620,000) to the Chairman, House Committee on Narcotics and Financial Crimes. My people who is fooling who?

The reports I am getting also states that Farouk Lawan told Femi Otedola, that other indicted marketers have been paying their bribes. This man has just disappointed my mother, yes my mother and every other Nigerian who vowed to stand by him during this scandal. I am still sure that many more dirts will come out of this shameful movie from the stables of
