The mother and brother of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) chieftain, Mr. Francis Effanga were found dead in a locked up bungalow in Mbikpana Atan, Ibiono, a sleepy community, some 15 minutes drive from Uyo, the state capital. Their bodies were discovered after the woman's children searched for her since neighbours said they did not see the lonely widow for sometime. Their deaths have triggered a native investigation by the traditional ruler of the community, who insisted that such things had never happened in their community before. The community leaders also decided to carry out a traditional investigation because they feel the need to urgently bring the perpetrators to justice.
