A 19-year-old Bahrainian has been sentenced to two years inprisonment for allegedly posting insulting comments about Aisha, a wife of the Prophet Mohammed. He was sentenced on Sunday. Attorney-General Abdulrahman Al-Sayyed said the 19-year-old man, whose name was not released, had previously been arrested and charged with defaming a revered religious symbol.
