According to BBC reports, Matthew Milat, 19, killed and buried David Auchterlonie, 17, in a forest in New South Wales in 2010. This was the same area where his great-uncle Ivan Milat dumped the bodies of seven young backpackers in the 1990s.
An accomplice, Cohen Klein, was given at least 22 years in jail. Mr Auchterlonie was tortured and taunted before he was struck on the head with an axe in the Belanglo State Forest, south-west of Sydney. His murder was recorded by Klein on a mobile phone.
I think it's a thing that runs in the family, and it's a good thing that he was arrested and put away before more people are hurt by the evil that runs in their family.
