A woman whose name is Sakshi in India hacked her 7-year-old adopted daughter to death after her husband tried to rape the little girl. Sakshi hacked the girl to death with a sharp edged iron weapon. The woman had reported her husband to the police as soon as he tried to rape the girl and the man was arrested by the police, but trouble started as her in-laws started mounting pressure on her to ensure that her husband was released. in laws threatened her, saying that she dragged their family name in the mud by reporting the incident to the police. Although Sakshi tried to commit suicide after killing the girl, but she was not successful and she is presently detained by the police for murder.
