According to an eye witness account, Okada riders this morning descended on BRT buses in Lagos, vowing to ensure that the buses will not operate in the state anymore. This is coming as the riders were seen at Ijora Olopa and Iddo areas of the state destroying the BRT buses and beating the drivers and conductors of the state approved buses. Commuters were forced to walk or get other means of transportation to their various destinations. The state government had earlier restricted the operations of Okada riders in the state from certain highways and bridges.
